Greg and I set a trail camera between hunts in Mexico this year. When we returned we had 1600 pictures. Out of all of those there was 1590 pictures of horse's and cow's. We did get a lion, Spike Buck, Coyote and what looks like to us as a Ocelot.

Gila Outdoors Trip

Greg and I was able to go down to Gila Outdoors for their one year anniversary a couple of  weekends ago. We took some of our coues deer mounts and some sheep heads for a small display. It was great to meet some new people and talk with some old friends. If you get the chance to stop in I would suggest you do. They have a great collection of mounts of all types and a great store and staff.

Big Lake Family Trip

A couple of weeks ago I took my family to Big Lake for some fishing and fun.The first day we went fishing Sydney was the only one to catch any fish even though there were 4 other poles in the water she caught all 3 that day. She was so proud of her fish she wanted to carry them all the way back to the truck. It was a 1/2 mile hike. She even helped me clean them. The next day I took Cole out on a boat and he caught 4 on the same pole that Sydney had. I was able to snag one.
Zane had a blast with the ax cutting wood and bragging he was the one to supply us with fire to make smores.
Every evening we would go looking for animals. We found elk, deer, antelope, and a couple of coyotes. We have a great time every year on the mountain and look forward to it to escape the heat.

WSF Convention / stone sheep mount

Greg and I were able to goto Reno Nevada this year to the Wild Sheep Foundation convention. It was fun to get away for a few days and see all the mounts and talk to a few friends and outfitters. I have my desert and my dall sheep and would love to do a stone hunt. This one in the pictures would work ok for me. Actually I'm thinking of having my dall sheep mounted like this. Sorry for the quality of the photos, I took them with my phone.
